About the Role & Team
Urban Company’s India business is divided into three large verticals with several core categories within these verticals. Each category has an independent user offering and supply pool and is led by a business head.
● Beauty vertical Salon for women: Skin-care services Salon for women: Hair, nails and make-up Men’s grooming Spa therapy for men and women Treatments
● Homevertical ACand appliance repair Cleaning and Pest control Electricians, Plumbers, and Carpenters Painting
● Products business (Largely B2B sales) Beauty & spa products: Both OEM and private labels Water purifiers, RO filters, etc. Home solutions store Cleaning products
● Native Smart Locks and RO
Weare seeking an experienced Trainer- Plumbing in the EPC (Electrician Plumber Carpenter) Category to join our dynamic team. The Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality delivery of home repairs services in our designated cities.
What You’ll Do:
● Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for partners in the Plumbing category
● Continuously update training materials to reflect industry advancements and company Policies.
● Oversee the daily operations of the training department to ensure smooth and efficient functioning
● Managetraining schedules, ensuring timely completion of all training sessions
● Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements as needed
● Actasaliaison between the business team and the training team to ensure alignment of training objectives with business goals
● Communicate training needs, progress, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders
● Conduct regular assessments and feedback sessions to evaluate the performance of trainees
● Address any training deficiencies promptly and effectively to ensure consistent quality
What WeNeed:
● B-Tech,Diploma or ITI or experience as a field technician in leading home fittings companies/ facilities management
● Previous experience working in quality control/ training in the domains of plumbing is preferred
● 5+years of experience in the relevant domains
● Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams ● Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
● Proven ability to manage and coordinate teams effectively
● Highlevel of professionalism and commitment to quality
