Job Description
• Production and maintenance of Plants such as Batching Plant, WMM PLANT.
• Taking care of earth moving & rotary equipment such as Crane, Boom placer, Dumpers, Roller, Loader, Excavator, Grader, Compressor. backhoe loader, Transit mixture, Piling rig, Tippers, Traile.
• Provide optimum availability by reducing m/c downtime.
• Achieve the planned target of plant production.
• Planning & Preparing of Spare parts and consumables used in Preventive Maintenance of plants and machines.
• Ensure optimum spare part inventory to maintain machines.
• Preparation Daily, Weekly and Monthly progress report for Plant & machinery reflecting the Project Progress as necessary.
• Maintain History books of machines.
• Analyze the cost incurred in repair & maintenance work monthly.
• Spare parts management, control & distribution to various sites on time to time to avoid m/c downtime.
• Reporting to Project manager & H.O about the status of plant and machinery.
• Coordinate and communicate between field sub-contractor.
• Monitoring of site activities Work, Manpower and equipment with Daily and Monthly Program Schedules and keeping the Project Head updated on these issues.
• Interfacing with external agencies for meeting the commercial/ statutory requirements and ensuring adherence to the regulations as applicable.
• Best utilization of resources and mechanical manpower available.
• Participate in Weekly and Monthly Progress meetings with client, Project Head Engineers.
• Maintainance and updation of breakdown record of all equipment and suggest ways to minimize breakdown period.
• Designing and implementing equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability.
• Responsible for all MIS related works at sites and ensuring proper documentation as per ISO standards.
• Providing safety, awareness, training, environmental solutions, leadership and direction.
• Forecasting spare part requirements and preparing procurement schedules of long lead spares to reduce downtime of equipment.
• Analysis of the cost spent on spares and repairs as well as operation and maintenance of owned equipment
