JOB PURPOSE
Portfolio Management Services (PMS) is a very high growth potential area in wealth management catering to HNI clients. Assisting FM team in managing day to day investment related activities, sound knowledge of equity markets, data & analytical skills are prerequisites.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
The PMS personnel will be required for the following key activities
Role of Back up FM/dealer;
Liasioning with PMS operations/Sales team/PMS vendor;
Ability to independently manage PMS frontline activities;
Research support to FM for idea generation/managing portfolios;
PMS Presentation/ data collation & updation;
Strong numerical skills and analytical abilities;
Good Verbal & Written Communication Skills
Activities
Acting as a Back-up Fund Manager/dealer in their absence
PMS order generation for fresh inflow/redemption requests, liasioning with PMS dealer
Liasioning with back office team/sales team/PMS system vendor
Preparation of monthly/quarterly data for PMS newsletter/FOMC meeting/presentation
Co-ordination with Sales team for PMS presentation updation/data requirement
Equity Research activity- assisting FM in collating/extracting data from Bloomberg/Capitaline/MF Explorer etc, market data analysis, preparation of research reports, new idea generation etc.
Managing client/sales calls
Support creation of material for various management/client reviews and meetings
Asset Class - Equity, Mutual Funds
Requirements
Qualifications
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE - CA/MBA/CFA
Functional and Behavioral Skills
Preferable to have experience in PMS/AIF/broking industry
Knowledge of Capital markets/research analysis
Good Analytical skill and expert knowledge in Excel
Good Communication and Team management skill
Good at Time Management
Relevant and total years of Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of work experience, primarily in PMS/AIF/equity broking/Mutual Fund
