Position Overview:
Are you passionate about podcasting and have a deep understanding of the latest technologies in this field? We're seeking a Podcast Intern to assist in the production, editing, and distribution of our podcast content. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing and evolving industry while working with a team of talented professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in pre-production activities, including brainstorming, researching, and script development.
Participate in podcast recording sessions and help with audio setup and recording equipment.
Collaborate with the production team to edit and post-process audio content, ensuring high audio quality.
Assist in sourcing and securing podcast guests, conducting pre-interview research, and coordinating guest schedules.
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in podcasting, audio editing software, and equipment.
Manage and organize audio files, show notes, and metadata for podcast episodes.
Work with the marketing team to promote podcast episodes through social media and other channels.
Contribute to the development and execution of creative podcast ideas and concepts.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a related field (e.g., communications, journalism, media studies).
Strong passion for podcasting and a deep knowledge of the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in the podcasting industry.
Familiarity with audio recording equipment, editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, or similar), and the ability to quickly learn new tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative.
Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
A strong sense of creativity and storytelling.
