Insights by Masum is a podcast that features interviews with prominent business/startup founders, actors, and other famous personalities across various fields.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Podcast Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, contacting, and securing guests for the Insights by Masum podcast. Your primary focus will be on connecting with influential individuals like startup founders in Ahmedabad and convincing them to share their stories and expertise on our platform.
Responsibilities:
• Guest Outreach: Actively research and identify potential podcast guests who align with the show's theme and target audience. This will primarily involve reaching out to business/startup individuals and well-known personalities based in Ahmedabad.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential guests, using your excellent communication and networking skills.
• Guest Confirmation: Communicate effectively with confirmed guests, ensuring they are well-prepared for the podcast recording and understand the show's format. You should be knowledgeable about Masum Gandhi and his work to confidently answer any questions from potential guests.
• Scheduling: Coordinate with Mazam and schedule podcast recordings (date & time of the shoot) with guests..
• Target Achievement: Meet specific targets for securing podcast guests within given timeframes.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to craft compelling pitches and engage with high-profile individuals.
• Networking and Persuasion: Proven ability to build rapport, network effectively, and persuade individuals to participate in the podcast.
• Passion for Podcasts: A genuine interest in podcasts and the media landscape.
• Social Media Proficiency: Comfortable using LinkedIn and Instagram for professional networking and communication and building your own strategies for reaching out to individuals.
• Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Convincing Skills: You should be convincing and flattering enough to onboard the guest. A go-getter attitude is what we welcome and you should figure out strategies on your own!
Additional Details:
• This is a part-time, remote position, requiring 7 days of work per week.
• The role includes a 7-day unpaid training trial to familiarise you with the podcast, its format, and our expectations.
• Compensation will be performance-based, with opportunities for growth based on your success in securing high-profile guests.
