Molex is currently seeking a proficient Polarion Developer to join our Digital Transformation Team. This role is pivotal in driving the development and customization of Polarion software solutions to enhance our project management and collaboration capabilities. As a Polarion Developer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain customized solutions that align with our business objectives and project management methodologies.
Our Team
• Collaborate with the Digital Transformation Team to analyze business requirements and implement new applications and software changes using Polarion.
What You Will Do
• Customize and configure Polarion software to align with specific project management methodologies and workflows, ensuring optimal utilization of the platform.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications and applications within Polarion, leveraging scripting languages such as Groovy or JavaScript.
• Integrate Polarion with other systems and tools used within the organization, such as JIRA, Teamcenter, etc., to streamline data exchange and improve cross-platform functionality.
• Design and implement Polarion templates, dashboards, and reports to support project tracking, documentation, and decision-making processes.
• Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of Polarion functionalities by project teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and ensure the successful delivery of Polarion projects within established timelines.
• Document development processes, technical specifications, and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure maintainability of Polarion solutions.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Polarion development and customization, with a strong understanding of the platform's capabilities and limitations.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy or JavaScript, with experience in developing scripts within the Polarion environment.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and processes, with experience in customizing Polarion to support Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Experience with Polarion integrations, including integration with other project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Teamcenter) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within Polarion.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Familiarity with software configuration management tools such as Git, SVN, and working experience with Java, J2EE, HTML, and RESTful web services.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, tools, and DevOps practices, and experience in Technical and Systems Architecting, including cloud deployment of Polarion-based solutions.
• Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successfully addressing complex technical challenges.
