Why join Merseyside Police

Policing on Merseyside is dynamic, challenging, rewarding and we take pride in everything we do. Merseyside is one of the smallest geographical forces, although serves a diverse population in a challenging policing area, responding to almost 1 million calls for service per year.

Our Force Strategy

We are driven by the current Force Strategy 2020-25 and passionately believe that Community First is absolutely the right thing for our communities, for our partners and for Merseyside Police.

Our vision is to put our communities first – we are committed to preventing crime and anti-social behaviour, through our developing approach to preventative policing, in order that we reduce the number of victims particularly those crimes that cause high harm.
