Job Title: Policy Manager Department/Group: Risk Grade: Senior Manager
Role and Responsibilities :
1. Formulation of Credit Policy for secured and unsecured loans like LAP, BL, PL, etc...
2. Monitor and keep track of industry trends, key factors impacting industry, performance of trade in local market and regulatory impact
3. Coordinate with Sales/Product/Credit/Technology and Operations to fine tune the process.
4. Support delivery of AUM- for specific business & focus on operational efficiency through process changes and effective policy implementation.
5. Responsible for interacting with Colending partner's policy & Credit team in case of co-lending programs
7. Detailed portfolio monitoring on various demographic, bureau-based, industry and other parameters – driving meaningful analysis for credit underwriting
8. Understanding the Portfolios for the concerned partner’s to identify the risk and corrective actions, if any
9. To keep track of delinquency levels and ensuring that learnings from delinquencies are acted upon and leading to real time credit policy updates under the feedback loop
10. Carrying out effective hind sighting of loan files and presenting report to stakeholders post discussion with Credit and Risk Head for corrective action and improvement
11. Policy related trainings and frontline support for resolution of their queries
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Post Graduate, MBA or CA
Preferred Skills• 5 to 8 years of experience in Risk or Policy division of an NBFC/ Financial Services Company.
Additional Notes1. Understanding of products like LAP, BL, SCF, etc – in terms of product frameworks, eligibility assessments, key risks in each category of funding
Technical Skills
1. MS Office – Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications is a must
