About the role
The Policy and Projects Officer supports the development of policy advice and programs related to skills and workforce for the transition to renewable energy and net zero.

About you
You are proactive and analytical, with a strong interest in renewable energy and net zero initiatives.
You can provide clear, evidence-based advice on policy, trends, and legislation to support informed decision-making.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
Organised and solutions-focused, with the ability to identify risks, contribute to policy development, and support continuous improvement.
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
