Portable Technician Trainee

About the Role

Based out of our Dingley, Victorian branch.
Primarily working in the extinguisher workshop discharging and recharging fire extinguishers.
The company will enroll the employee in the Certificate II Fire Protection Inspection and Testing - Portable Fire Equipment.
On the job training and assessment will be provided with the expectation for some home self-learning using the learning resources provided by Chubb.
Other duties will include assisting Field Portable Technicians:

Servicing portable fire equipment on our customer premises and recommending portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to comply with specific Australian Standards.
Providing excellent Customer service and advice to our clients on site.
Using power tools to install and repair portable fire equipment such as extinguishers and blankets.
Using Field Service mobile phone application to plan and organise your schedule.
About You

Current Driver’s Licence.
Australia Citizen or Permanent Resident.
A construction industry white card (or the ability to obtain one).
An appreciation of excellent customer service and the ability to communicate with clients on site.
Good time management and organisational skills.
The ability to work away from home when required – Remote sites.
