About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Portfolio Lead – Services holds strategic and commercial accountability for one of Gallagher Security’s most critical global portfolios.

This portfolio spans High Security & Assurance, Gallagher Cloud Services, and CarePlan & Support, services central to how we deliver long-term protection, assurance, and customer value at scale.

You will define the portfolio’s long-term strategic direction, determine where and why we invest, and ensure decisions are grounded in meaningful customer and commercial outcomes. Working closely with senior leaders across Product, Architecture, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Customer teams, you will lead large-scale transformation initiatives while balancing near-term commercial priorities with long-term capability and innovation.

This role requires both enterprise-level strategic thinking and the ability to lead through complexity, ambiguity, and change. You will influence decisions at the highest levels of the organisation while building alignment, momentum, and belief across a broad and highly capable global network.

What You’ll be Leading:

Define and evolve the long-term strategy for Gallagher’s global Services portfolio
Shape investment priorities across a number of subscription-based cloud service offerings, our CarePlan and support capabilities and the super important High Security and Assurance function.
Lead complex portfolio transformation initiatives that drive scalable customer and commercial outcomes
Own portfolio-level investment decisions, governance, prioritisation, and commercial performance
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and customer-facing leaders to align enterprise strategy and execution
Lead and empower senior leaders and value stream leaders across a large, high-performing portfolio environment
Build clarity and alignment across competing priorities, enabling teams to move with confidence and pace
Represent the Services portfolio in executive forums, strategic customer conversations, and key partner engagements
Champion customer-centric decision making, ensuring investment and roadmap choices are grounded in real customer value
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement
About You

You are an experienced enterprise leader who combines strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and technical credibility.

You know how to navigate complexity, make high-quality investment decisions, and lead large-scale transformation in environments where technology, customer expectations, and commercial priorities are constantly evolving.

Most importantly, you can bring people with you, creating clarity, trust, and momentum across senior stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional leaders.

You’ll bring:

More than 10 years’ experience in senior product, portfolio, or commercial leadership roles
Proven success leading complex product or services portfolios through business and technology transformation
Strong commercial capability, including investment governance, prioritisation, and enterprise decision-making
Experience commercialising technology within B2B or SaaS enterprise environments
The ability to work confidently alongside architects, engineers, and delivery leaders on large-scale transformation initiatives
Strong systems thinking and the ability to connect strategic direction with operational execution
Exceptional stakeholder leadership and influencing capability across executive and cross-functional environments
The communication skills to simplify complexity, inspire confidence, and align diverse audiences behind a shared direction
A highly collaborative leadership style grounded in accountability, customer value, and long-term thinking
This role is based in Hamilton, New Zealand, with international travel required as part of our global leadership environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead at scale, influence enterprise strategy, and build globally significant outcomes while remaining connected to a culture that values collaboration, trust, and balance.

We also offer:
