Dexus's extensive scale in major CBDs and deep experience in managing office portfolios positions us to effectively respond to the emerging needs of our customers and drive greater returns for our partners.
We have an outstanding opportunity for a Portfolio Manager - Office to join the team in Auckland. Portfolio Managers at Dexus are responsible for driving performance of assets and developing property investment strategies to meet the Funds Objectives.
You will make an impact by:
Drive portfolio performance through accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reviews.
Develop and implement Strategic Asset Plans, including capital expenditure strategies and stakeholder engagement.
Manager Service Providers to deliver financial and operational objectives.
Optimise leasing outcomes by partnering with Leasing Agents to minimise vacancies and maximise income.
Manage valuations and capital works programs, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
Support acquisitions and divestments by contributing to due diligence and strategic portfolio decisions.
Build strong relationships with investors, tenants, and industry stakeholders to enhance asset value.
Contribute to fund objectives through portfolio construction, investment strategies, and reporting.
About You
You’re a self-motivated, proactive and commercially astute property professional with experience in asset management, ideally within the office sector. You have the ability to work autonomously, whilst managing competing priorities and staying connected to a virtual team. Your experience will enable you to drive asset performance and investment strategies that meet fund objectives.
You will bring:
Tertiary qualification in property, land economics, finance, commerce, or accounting.
Proven experience in Property, Asset, or Portfolio Management, ideally within the office sector.
Strong understanding of real estate valuations processes.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Commercial acumen - drives value through bold goal-setting and impactful work for clients, investors, and stakeholders.
Innovative thinking - challenges the status quo and turns bold ideas into action.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and thorough understanding of real estate management.
