About the Role
As a Portfolio & Pricing Analyst, you’ll help shape how we price and grow our products. You’ll dive into the data to understand how our products are performing, compare them to the market, and turn insights into practical recommendations that drive growth and profitability. You’ll be part of a supportive team and work closely with a range of teams across the business, giving you great exposure and opportunities to learn. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll build your skills in analytics, pricing, and strategy while making a real impact.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Deliver ongoing insights into product performance, including market comparisons
Collaborate with Product, Finance, Treasury, and Strategy teams to optimise pricing
Analyse portfolio trends to identify growth and retention opportunities
Produce detailed reporting and insights for governance forums
Conduct external benchmarking to assess competitive positioning
Develop and maintain performance monitoring frameworks across key metrics
Support product budgeting, forecasting, and income targets
Source and leverage market research and industry insights
Maintain pricing governance frameworks and approval processes
About You
You are an analytical thinker who can translate complex data into meaningful insights. You’re also a strong communicator who can explain ideas clearly, build relationships with a range of stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across teams. With a curious mindset and attention to detail, you’re comfortable asking questions, challenging thinking, and contributing to better outcomes.
We also seek:
Sound experience in product or pricing within a financial institution
Strong understanding of financial and marketing principles
Advanced analytical skills, including strong Excel capability and experience with tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth and profitability
Proven stakeholder engagement skills across cross-functional teams
A strategic mindset with confidence to challenge and improve existing approaches
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
Completion of a tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is essential for this role.
