Also understanding &troubleshooting instrument related of MCC electrical systems facilities; Monitoring & maintains a spare parts inventory, Maintain of IMS.JOB DESCRIPTION OF TECHNICIAN: (INSTRUMENTATION) - LOTE - 1. Responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled tasks including installation, repairs, troubleshooting, planning, modification, design, installation and calibration of instrumentation, PLC control and MCC related electrical systems facilities; the operation and maintenance of electronic instrumentation equipment including programmable logic controllers, remote terminal units, supervisory control data acquisition (SCADA) & Distributed control systems, and software controlled units and equipment.- 2. Prioritize jobs based on production inputs, plan the assigned job /unit; coordinate with internal and external departments regarding maintenance & project job requirements and timelines; execute work; assess and plan for future needs.- 3. Verify the work of assigned job accuracy, proper work methods, techniques and compliance with applicable standards and specifications; ensure adherence to established guidelines, rules and regulations; assist to outside vendors/OEM.- 4. Execute job with proper safety procedures related to all work when performing.- 5. Utmost use, care, and operation of process control instrumentation when performing job.- 6. Perform Individual & Participate in the repair of instrumentation systems, equipment and components, both in the field and in the workshop.- 7. Participate in installing and maintaining field instruments /control systems and instrumentation systems including electronics, programmable controllers, PA, & telecommunications system, Electronics Meter, transmitters, hydraulics & pneumatics and a variety of other systems; inspect installed systems to ensure proper operation.- 8. Participate in repairing, t ooting, installing, and maintaining low voltage Instrumentation / equipment and related devices including power panels, wire ways etc.- +. Trouble shoot, Modify, design and change control circuits; install temporary systems to sustain operations after authorized person approval/discussion.- 10. Regular Take backups data of DCS and provide data as per production requirement.- 11. Modify and implement DCS software programs like interlocks / set points for process control.- 12. Maintain efficient records on operations and activities; coordinate and prepare a variety of Instrumentation reports/records.- 13. List critical spares instrument /consumables materials for maintenance and equipment- 14. Required for projects; coordinate purchase of required materials on daily basis.- 15. Respond to emergency call-outs on nights, w-off and holidays and provide service round the clock.- Critical focus Area- Plant /Utility Instrumentation maintenance. - Ensure the Mechanical Integrity of Instrumentation installation and monitoring performance and provide solution. Key Performance Indicators - ‘0’ complains related maintenance & equipment break down time. - Reduction in spares cost by base line
