Position Title: Junior E-Commerce & Tech Support Coordinator

Overview

We’re looking for a motivated and tech-savvy junior team member to support our E-Commerce Manager and Technical Operations. This hybrid role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience across online retail, customer service, data integration, and technical troubleshooting.

You’ll assist with managing e-commerce listings, processing online sales channels (Shopify, eBay, Amazon), supporting warehouse inventory accuracy, and handling basic tech customer service and product testing. You'll also play a key role in helping to build and optimise our digital storefronts and auction channels.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

Provide first-line support to online customers (email/phone/chat)

Handle warranty inquiries and basic troubleshooting

Assist in testing returned products and pre-owned tech for resale

Maintain a simple ticketing log or spreadsheet for support cases

E-Commerce Coordination

Create, manage and optimise product listings across Shopify, eBay, Amazon, and auction platforms

Assist in the Shopify site build and ongoing maintenance (themes, product bundles, promotions)

Update product descriptions, specs, images, and compliance labels (e.g., TGA, warranties)

Collaborate with marketing team to align listings with active promotions and SEO best practices

Inventory & Data Management

Sync online stock levels with warehouse inventory

Co-ordinate inbound/outbound stock movements with warehouse staff

Use Excel/Google Sheets or inventory software to ensure accurate reporting

Help automate data sync using APIs, CSV imports, or webhook alerts (training provided)

Platform Integration & Development

Assist with connecting APIs for eBay, Amazon, Shopify, and auction portals into our inventory system

Monitor and troubleshoot product sync issues

Support the implementation of pricing automation and reporting dashboards

Who This Role Would Suit

A recent graduate or undergrad student in Business, IT, Digital Marketing or E-Commerce

Someone passionate about tech, e-commerce, and process improvement

A fast learner who enjoys wearing multiple hats and gaining cross-functional experience

Key Skills & Qualities

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Shopify, eBay Seller and Amazon Seller Central experience is essential.

Interest in digital marketing and e-commerce best practices

Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
