Job Description
A postdoctoral fellow position is available in a lab focused on advancing research in hematologic malignancies, with an emphasis on cancer stem cell biology, disease progression, and treatment resistance. The lab integrates translational and clinical research approaches, including studies in multiple myeloma, acute myeloid leukemia, and pancreatic cancer, with opportunities to contribute to innovative therapeutic strategies and clinical trials. This position offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with strong mentorship and access to robust research infrastructure, supporting career development in academic medicine and cancer research.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Applies technical expertise and experience to plan, coordinate, design, supervise and carry out research projects. Plans, organizes, coordinates, directs and participates in scientific research projects. Assigns and reviews work of subordinates, determines specific goals or objectives to be attained, evaluates resulting research data and revises techniques or approaches to work problems. Compiles, writes and submits reports to superior.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have a recent Ph.D. degree in Natural Science, or related field along with lead-author publications, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a research team. Candidates who pursue an independent career path are highly preferred.
POSITION INFORMATION
MD Anderson offers full-time postdoc positions with a salary ranging from $64,000 to $76,000. depending on the number of years of postgraduate experience.
