Remuneration: Total remuneration range: $130,347 to $154,804 pa (LEVB) (inclusive of $110,145 to $130,811 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
Location: Gardens Point

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join School of Law, Faculty of Business and Law, Academic Division.

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will carry out research and support the undertaking of research projects about voluntary assisted dying and other end-of-life issues. The position will support a number of existing projects that sit within the End-of-Life Research Program at the Australian Centre for Health Law Research.

What You Need To Succeed

Completion of a PhD (or a recent submission of a PhD), or equivalent accreditation or standing.
Completion of a degree in law, health, bioethics or other relevant discipline; and/or equivalent qualifications and/or professional experience.
Demonstrated ability to conduct and manage independent research, including planning and delivering project outcomes within agreed timeframes and budgets.
Demonstrated high level of oral communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to connect and collaborate with research colleagues in a team environment and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated high level written communication skills, including experience in writing reports, conference papers and/or contributing to academic publications using referencing software.
Demonstrated digital literacy including the ability to successfully use Microsoft Suite and ability to rapidly acquire working knowledge of data analysis software packages.

Desirable

Demonstrated experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research techniques.
Ability to undertake research and writing beyond the discipline of law
