postgres DBA L2 CVs on high priority, Immediate joiners.
• Job Location – Mumbai – Bandra-Work from office
• Experience :4+Yrs
• Only 1 internal round and last round will be client round.
Postgres Certification Mandatory – in case the profile is strong and candidate is ready to do the certification post joining, we can take it forward.
· All activities performed by L1 Competent DBA
· Installation and configuration of Postgres database
· Installation, configuration and application of Enterprise DB tools like PEM, BART, EFM and some open source tools like Pgbackrest, Barman, Pgbadger, Pgpool, Pgbouncer etc.
· Installation and configuration of BDR replication.
· Installation and configuration of standby database with real-time replication (Streaming, Logical).
· Participate in application development projects and will be responsible for the database architecture and design.
· Participate in the creation of development, staging, and production database instances, and the migration from one environment to another.
· Responsible for developer SQL code review to ensure queries are optimized and tuned to perform efficiently prior to production release.
· Responsible for regular backups and recovery of databases.
· Responsible for regular maintenance on databases (e.g., Vacuum, Re-indexing, Archiving).
· Responsible for pro-active remediation of database operational problems.
Responsible for Query tuning and preventative maintenance.
· Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live database systems issues
· Anticipate and handle critical situations database issues.
· Ability to implement automation to reduce manual administrative tasks through use of jobs, scripts, cron or other techniques.
· Database and EFM patching and upgrade/migrate.
· Handling Database Switchover/failover with and without EFM.
· Creation and periodic review/updation of all monitoring, operations, reports, maintenance, upgradation, migration and all other required SOPs.
