What You Will Do: • Build, maintain, monitor database systems to ensure data integrity and high availability and query performance • Provide technical leadership to teams in defining, developing, and evolving cloud architecture design deployment, security, and operation, especially in database systems • Develop and deliver configuration and deployment automation required for improving the performance, availability, and manageability of cloud services • Work with development teams in designing cloud service architecture that can solve business challenges • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure production environments are up and running and perform root cause analysis What You Bring to ServiceMax: • Minimum of 5 years’ direct experience working with cloud production environments • Experience in designing, configuring, and maintaining high availability (HA) solutions for database systems (Postgres, MySQL), implementing techniques such as replication, failover, and clustering • Experience in monitoring and optimizing the performance of database systems, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, and ensuring efficient query execution • Experience in managing ElasticSearch cluster, including index management, performance tuning, and monitoring • Experience in performing database backups, disaster recovery planning, and data replication to ensure data integrity and high availability • Experience in building systems based on cloud technology in AWS environments • Experience in developing cloud automation in one or more technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet, and/or Chef • Experience working with Monitoring tools like NewRelic, AppDynamic,DataDog • Experience working with Log Management tools such as Splunk, Sumologic • Well-developed analytical skills • A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive • Ability to work independently and collaboratively Nice to have qualifications: • AWS Certified Database - Specialty • AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate or Professional • AWS Certified Developer Professional
