Location- Mumbai, Pune
Experience- 4+yrs
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have
DB Administration in PostgreSQL +.6/11.2/12.4
Experience in Backup, restore database using third party tool and custom scripts
Experience in PostgreSQL server installation and DB Upgrade to latest version
Experience in Database refresh in Non-Prod environment
Experience in database performance tuning and troubleshooting application/database performance issues
Good-to-Have
Experience in heterogenous Database migration (ex. Sybase to PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of Third-party database admin and monitoring tools [Ex. Pgadmin, Rubrik]
Experience in setup of high availability using PostgreSQL Streaming Replication
Experience in Pgpool for load balance and Pg_rewind for DR
Automation using shell scripting for database admin and maintenance activities
Background
Worked with International customers and ready to work in US overlapping Hours
