Job Summary
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking of JPM WEALTH MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing strategic data platform to support product development of market differentiating capabilities for the JPM Wealth Management business. The position is ideal for an individual who have proven track records in software design and programming, data modeling, Big Data technology and modern engineering practices. You will also have close collaboration with technical partners across the organizations, navigating complexity to provide optimal, scalable, and resilient end to end platform solutions.
Job responsibilities
• Maintain documentation on issues, corrective actions in-line with best practice to ensure knowledge accessibility and continuous learning within team
• Look to proactively develop operate knowledge and skills by sharing experiences and attending relevant training
• Proactively improve support services by building upon best practice and tools
• Awareness of industry standard SDLC processes for quality management
• Knowledge of software estimation techniques
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Able to design Big data batch and real time data services.
• 6 to 10 years of overall IT Experience
• Should be good in performance tuning skills in Pyspark, AWS platform.
• Hands experience on Agile and CI-CD process.
• Experience on reporting service implemented on Big database, Autosys or Control-M scheduler.
• Prefer experience on Kafka , Kinesis, and Streaming real time data.
• Experience on Python data librarie
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Strong hands on working experience of Big Data stack including PySpark and Python
• Good understanding on RDMS database and Linux/UNIX .
• Take ownership of business-critical and complex applications.
• Strong knowledge of multi-threading and high volume batch processing.
• Able to design Big data batch and real time data services.
