Potable/Greywater Truck Driver (Seasonal) - Alpine - Drilling Support Group

JOB SUMMARY

The Potable/Greywater Truck Driver position is responsible for operating vac trucks, tankers, or super suckers to pick up and deliver water, wastewater and other drilling related fluids from the facilities, camps, and drilling rigs. Must be familiar with fluid transfer and manifesting procedures. Operators will be driving long distances over ice roads. This position supports the winter drilling season at Alpine.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Operate and maintain the equipment such as vac trucks, tankers, super suckers to load and unload water, wastewater and other drilling related fluids from camps and facilities to include the drilling rigs.

Will be required to work outside in cold and adverse weather conditions.

Heavy physical labor required for handling hoses, valves, pumps, and other equipment.

Prepare, update, and maintain logs, records, manifest requirements, and equipment maintenance schedules.

Monitor equipment operation and identify malfunctions.

Inspect, adjust, and perform minor equipment repairs.

Prepare and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.

Clean, store, and maintain equipment as required.

Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.

Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

A Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements (U.S issued) is required.

A current DOT Medical Card is required.

A High School Diploma or GED is required.

The ability to work 80.5 hours a week on a 3x3 rotation is required.

A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.

A minimum of three (3) years' related training and experience is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Three (3) or more years' experience working as an Equipment Operator in a Construction/Industrial setting, the Oil and Gas/Petrochemical industry, and/or the North Slope/Arctic environment is preferred.

Previous ice road driving experience is preferred.

A Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements is preferred.

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE

While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet are free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
