Responsibilities
• Identify, collect and manage a range of structured & unstructured; internal & external data sets that are relevant to the business problem being explored and support the preparation of data for solutions.
• Give shape to the above data sets with two objectives: solving the current business problem and making this data available for future analysis
• Identify opportunities through business insights
• Build and manage actionable dashboards using business performance metrics (‘KPIs’)
• Develop automated solutions that reduce input burden, increase output simplicity, and improve consistency across the team
• Collaborate with BI/Analytics teams to scale existing solutions, manager governance and policies
• Support business functions with planning that will allow for on-time delivery of key initiatives
• Work with large volumes of data; extract and manipulate large datasets using standard tools
• Build actionable dashboard – Operational and performance reports / BI solutions
• Playback complex data questions, analysis and insight gained in an accessible, easily comprehensible way to a business community. This will include the use of visualisation tools and techniques.
• Lead innovation projects which generate ideas and turn these into proof of concepts; prototypes or pilots.
Qualifications/Experience
• Degree in a Quantitative field such as Mathematics, Operational Research, Business, Computer Science or engineering or equivalent experience preferred
• 6+ years of experience
• Hands-on skills in cleaning, manipulating, analyzing, visualizing and modeling large data sets
• Transform data/ analysis to a business language
• Continuously develop and present innovative ideas based on data driven approach in order to improve current business practices
• Excellent project management and organizational and presentation skills.
• Strong relationship management and interpersonal skill
• Python is a plus
• Experience with – Power BI, SQL, Visualization skills
