Job Description: Power Press Operator

Signet Rubber Pvt. Ltd. is a trusted name in the rubber manufacturing industry, delivering innovative, high-performance rubber solutions across global markets. We are looking for a motivated, quality-driven, and detail-oriented Power Press Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. This position goes beyond machine operation—it plays a key role in ensuring product precision, operational efficiency, and safe production practices. The ideal candidate brings both technical skill and a proactive mindset, contributing to the manufacturing of high-quality metal components while collaborating with quality control, tool maintenance, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement and product consistency.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing precision stamping operations, performing die setups, monitoring machine health, and upholding strict safety and quality standards. Your ability to read engineering drawings and understand technical tolerances will directly influence the success of the final product delivered to our clients.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate mechanical and/or hydraulic power press machines to produce high-precision metal components.

Perform accurate die setups, alignments, and tool changeovers with minimal downtime.

Read and interpret technical drawings, part specifications, and work instructions to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Monitor machine performance during production and take prompt action to address abnormalities or deviations.

Maintain optimal press settings to ensure consistent part quality and minimize rework or scrap.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating power press machines.

Solid understanding of metal forming processes, die setup, press tooling, and safety systems.

Knowledge of safety protocols related to die handling, press operation, and machine lockout/tagout.

Preferred Skills:

Proficient in die setup, alignment, and tool changeover on mechanical or hydraulic power press machines.

Skilled in operating power presses with single-stage, progressive, or compound dies.

Able to maintain production records, follow work instructions, and meet output targets.
