As an Electrical Power System Engineer at our company, your role will involve the design, analysis, optimization, and reliable operation of complex electrical power systems. You will be working on various aspects of power systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution infrastructure. Your deep technical expertise, proficiency with industry-standard analysis software, and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance will be essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed power system studies using specialized software such as PSSE, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or similar tools. This includes load flow, short-circuit, transient stability, motor starting, protective relay coordination, arc flash, and harmonics analysis.
- Design and specify electrical equipment and components for power systems, specifically medium and high voltage systems. This will involve transformers, switchgear, protective relays, cables, and control systems.
- Ensure all designs and modifications comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations like IEEE, IEC, NERC, and NEC.
- Assess and manage the technical challenges of integrating new power sources like renewable energy (solar/wind) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) into the existing grid infrastructure.
- Provide expert technical support for commissioning, operation, and troubleshooting of power system issues, outages, and equipment failures.
- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, engineering reports, study findings, and recommendations for internal teams and external stakeholders/clients.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, field engineers, construction teams, and clients to ensure successful project execution from concept to completion.
