The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing expert analysis and strategic guidance to clients operating in the energy sector, mainly renewable energy landscape. As a power systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing machine and network models, assessing the interconnection requirements and evaluating regulatory landscapes, performing simulation studies and delivering actionable insights to optimize clients' positions in the ever-evolving power generation and transmission market.

As a valuable member of our Power Systems team, you will play a crucial role in supporting related projects by leveraging strong technical skills to deliver top-notch consulting services. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth analyses of power networks, encompassing supply and demand dynamics, and regulatory changes. You will be involved throughout the process, starting from gathering modeling inputs, performing power system simulations, preparing deliverables, and report writing. You will actively collaborate with clients to address their operational risks, meeting regulatory norms offering strategic advice and actionable recommendations to enhance their decision-making processes. Utilizing advanced analytics and modeling tools, you will adeptly interpret large datasets, perform simulations, and validate models to simulate various operating scenarios. Essential Qualification:
M.E./M.Tech/M.S./Post Graduation in disciplines such as Power Systems, Power Management, Renewable Energy, Energy Management, or a related field.
B.E./B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering or a pertinent field.
Strong background in power systems dynamics, operations, protection, transmission planning etc.
Familiarity with power system tools like PSS/E, PSLF, DIgSILENT, ETAP, PSCAD, or other similar simulation tools.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey intricate concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Robust problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying and overcoming challenges.
Proficient in collaborative teamwork, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently.
Desirable Qualification:
An additional advantage will be conferred to candidates with relevant experience.
Proficient in utilizing data analysis and modeling tools such as Excel, Python, and R.
Acquaintance with regulatory frameworks, grid codes, and reliability standards influencing the power system.
Demonstrated success in applying innovative approaches to tackle intricate challenges within the power system.
Research publications in reputed conferences/journals.
