Job Responsibilities And Requirements
Min of 5 + years of overall IT experience with expertise on Data Warehousing concepts and BI Reporting Tools.
Should have executed at least 3 end to end Power BI report development projects (preferably with 3 to 5 years of exp in power bi desktop and power bi service)
Exp. working in Power BI data models and Dataflows
Oversee data quality including validation, cleansing, ETL methods
Hands on experience in writing Transact-SQL queries, DAX, Power Query, Power Pivot and MDX. Adept in visualization skills
developing interactive reports and dashboards with for visual insights
Experience of successfully designing, modelling and implementing end to end Power BI solutions.
Knowledge and understanding of Power BI features and capabilities including Composite Models, Aggregations, Power BI Gateway, Power BI Premium Capacity and Power BI Mobile
business focused BI initiatives with a clear understanding of all deliverables and associated deadlines
Consult with end users to gather and clarify data and reporting needs for complex business intelligence solutions
Evangelize self-service BI, analytics and reporting as well as the effective Power BI, and related data & toolsets by the widest possible audience
Develop and maintain data management standards, and documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications
Good to have
Experience in Data Engineering, Data Lake and DWH Development on Azure Data Platform (using ADF, ADLS Gen1/Gen2, Azure SQL DW, Azure Databricks etc.). Snow Flake Cloud Warehouse understanding
