About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced PowerBI Specialist with 2-3 years of hands-on experience, including expertise in PowerBI Embedded, to join our team on a contractual basis. The initial project duration is 3 months, with the potential for extension up to a year based on performance. You will collaborate closely with clients to develop, optimize, and embed PowerBI reports and dashboards into their applications, delivering powerful data insights and seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop, design, and deploy PowerBI reports and dashboards to meet specific client requirements.
● Implement and manage PowerBI Embedded solutions, integrating them seamlessly into client applications.
● Perform data modeling and utilize DAX to create complex measures and calculated columns.
● Use Power Query to transform and prepare data for analysis.
● Extract, integrate, and manipulate data from multiple sources using SQL.
● Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver
tailored BI solutions.
● Optimize PowerBI reports for performance, ensuring they are scalable and
user-friendly.
● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PowerBI data connections, models,
visualizations, and embedded solutions.
● Provide documentation and training to clients on PowerBI usage, embedded
features, and best practices.
● Monitor and maintain PowerBI solutions to ensure ongoing performance and
accuracy.
Key Skills Required:
● PowerBI: Proven experience in developing and managing complex PowerBI dashboards and reports.
● PowerBI Embedded: Hands-on experience in implementing and managing PowerBI Embedded solutions.
● DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Advanced knowledge of DAX for creating dynamic measures and calculated columns.
● Power Query: Strong experience in data transformation and preparation using Power Query.
● SQL: Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
● Data Modeling: Expertise in designing and implementing data models within PowerBI.
● Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize BI solutions for performance.
● Client Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience working on contractual projects or with clients across different industries.
● Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
● Experience with additional BI tools like Tableau or Qlik is advantageous.
● Knowledge of best practices in data visualization and dashboard design.
Education:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Contract Details:
