Role: PPA Cover TeacherSalary: £165 - £185 per day based on experience Location: CroydonHours: 8:15 – 16:00
We are working with a two-form entry school in the heart of Hackney, London. The school is committed to providing a high-quality education for all their pupils, with a focus on creativity, innovation, and inclusion. They are looking for a cover teacher to join their team and provide PPA cover for KS1 and KS2 classes as the first responder cover teacher.
About the roleAs a cover teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the planned lessons and activities for the classes you are assigned to, following the school’s curriculum and policies. You will also be expected to manage the behaviour of the pupils, assess their learning, and provide feedback to the class teachers. You will work closely with the other staff members and receive support and guidance from the senior leadership team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Valid visa to work in the UK
• Experience of teaching in KS1 and KS2
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
