Job Description
Plan delivery control activities to improve runtime while maintaining high quality, timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
To maintain a constant flow of FG materials, avoiding line shortages.
To escalate timely to Planning 1. Demand Planning 2. Inventory Planning 3. Leadtime Optimization 4 Capacity Planning
To strive continuedly for operational improvements and increased customer delivery rating
Continuedly followup to supplier for dispatch available inventory, process parts & ensure longer have to worry about stocking extra materials and the associated carrying costs which not more than 3-4days inventory
Track delivery times, Shortage and report any issues of delivery
Following up with suppliers/customers for confirmation of orders/delivery
Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
Work with planning department for material planning and analysis to reduce inventory level.
Monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operations.
Perform inventory management according to company policies.
Address customer queries and concerns in a timely fashion.
Act as a SPOC person for internal as well as from customer for any concern
Schedule shift according to production needs/customer demand
Prepare and submit status and performance reports
To Escalate to top management in case of not achieving delivery as per plan
To reschedule the supplier machining plan
