Practice Leader – Water Treatment

The Practice Leader – Water Treatment is responsible for leading Stantec’s pursuits and delivery capability in Water, with our multi-disciplinary teams located across New Zealand.
The Practice Leader - Water Treatment is required to partner with other Practice Leaders in their market, both in Australia and New Zealand, and other relevant leaders, to share materials, approaches, best practice, and consistency where possible so to allow the business to operate as a homogeneous ANZ business.
Day to day your duties will include:
Apply strategic thinking, accounting for global trends within the Practice, and the impacts of broader market drivers such as climate change, net zero pathways, water security, population growth, and evolving regulatory and resilience requirements in the Water practice
Develop strategic business opportunities to shape the Business Centre
Support the Market Leader in strategic pursuits
Technical excellence of the Practice you represent through project delivery
Ensuring technical delivery is consistent within your market
Identify technical leaders within the Business Centre who operate within the Practice
Supporting various leadership roles within the Business Centre to deliver technical excellence for our clients
To be successful for this role you'll present:
Minimum of 15 years of related work, technical leadership, and consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Relevant tertiary qualification
Professional registration in a related field
Proven experience planning, designing and delivering water treatment projects, from small scale to large, complex urban facilities and industry
Experience delivering conventional and innovative water treatment solutions to support resilient, secure, adaptive, and sustainable water systems
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines and demonstrated experience establishing and supporting risk management frameworks for safe, reliable drinking water supply.
