We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, customer focused tech savvy individual to come add value to our energetic in-house Print Bureau team as a Pre-press Print Bureau Operator. In this permanent role you will work in a fast paced "Print on Request" environment and be responsible for assisting in the quality assurance of materials of the Print Bureau and ensuring the Open Polytechnic's pre-press requirements are of a high standard.
What you will bring to the role
At least 3 years' experience in a print or publications environment
Knowledge of and experience in all phases of the printing process, including digital and offset techniques.
Good working knowledge of print pre-press requirements and associated software.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
Proactive, is solutions orientated, with the ability to self-manage/work unsupervised
Superb time management to deal with a mixture of planned jobs and those on the spot urgent tasks.
Attention to detail and a "can do" attitude
