We now have a great opportunity for a Solution Architect in our Security Pre-Sales Cybersecurity team.

In this role, you will provide technical expertise across multiple security domains, supporting our partners and customers.

You will play a crucial role in pre-sales engagements, solution design, proof-of-concept (PoC) execution, demonstrations, and technical enablement for various security vendors in our portfolio. In this role, you will be required to effectively communicate complex security solutions and showcase their value in addressing modern cybersecurity challenges.

Key Responsibilities

These can be summarised as follows:
Provide technical solutions expertise to customers and their end users in a consultative sales environment.
Co-own and project manage the technical elements of sales opportunities to successful closure.
Engage with end users and resellers to help define appropriate multi-technology solutions to meet customer needs.
Support internal and external sales teams to deliver technical quotes in line with defined service level agreements (SLA’s).
Maintain new and current technical expertise across many security technologies such as end point security, .cloud security, networking security, data security, SIEM and MDR, DNS Security and many others.
Develop and manage customer relationships with appropriate contacts.
Conduct customer site visits (reseller and end user).
Conduct training sessions, webinars, and workshops to upskill partners and internal teams on security solutions.
Lead hands-on proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and live demonstrations to showcase the value and effectiveness of security technologies.
Act as a trusted advisor for partners and customersoffering insights into security best practices, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
Deliver sales and technical enablement training to internalTech Data sales teams and external reseller partners.
Respond to partner queries promptly and provide high-quality pre-sales support.
Leverage theCentre of Excellence (CoE) to support sales activity and enhance partner engagement.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you will need the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent experience.
High end certifications across security, networking or related technologies esp demonstrated expertise inf5, Sentinel One andElastic products and solutions would be highly regarded..
Must have minimum seven (7) years of experience in similar roles / Industry as well as design/ deployment experience.
Minimum of five (5) year vendor relations experience in a pre-sales vendor support role.
Minimum of five (5) year experience in formal product presentations and/or technical sales training experience.
Proven track record in being successful in a presales role.
Proven ability to work independently, effectively in an off-site environment and under high pressure.
Hands-on experience with security products, tools, architecture, and integrations.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Highly desired certifications: Relevant security vendor and industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, AWS/Azure Security, etc.).
This role will require the successful incumbent to travel in the field, to help our resellers understand the inter-workings of todays complex technologies.
