This is an opportunity to work with the flagship centre of Sandbox Daycare and Early Learning facility (www.sandboxcare.com). Sandbox is an initiative by alumni of IIT Bombay and Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad. Sandbox is a unique daycare facility where we have high focus on early learning and development. We are deeply associated with Eklavya Education Foundation of Ahmedabad (www.eklavya.org) for our curriculum development and teacher training. We are looking for highly passionate people who love children and are interested in making a difference in their early years. Eklavya School is a 20 years old school ranked 1st in Gujrat and 13th in India.
Overall Funtionality: To educate and take care of children according to age, abilities and attainment potential of individual children as per the guidelines laid down by Sandbox
Main Responsibilities:
Childcare:
Maintain highest levels of safety and child care within the centre
Curriculum Design and Delivery:
Involvement in curriculum design and delivery in the form of activities, lesson plans, day schedules and programmes
Continuous evaluation, upgradation and innovation in curriculum design and delivery techniques
Reporting:
Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and behaviour of children
Team work:
Work in collaboration with other members to achieve the prime objective of high class child care and innovative early learning
Take on responsibilities of training other members as and when the need arises
Maintain an open attitude towards continuous adaptation and evolution in methodologies
Minimum Qualification:
1. Previous work experience in early education - 1 year (pre-school)
2. Fluency in written and spoken English
