Event Server | Upscale Venues & Private Functions

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth area
Compensation: $20–$30/hour (based on experience, service style, and event scope)
Shift Availability: Weekday lunches, weekend evenings, plus select special events

What Makes You a Strong Fit
• Previous experience in fine dining, luxury events, banquets, or upscale hospitality preferred
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish preferred.
• Solid understanding of service timing, guest etiquette, and team coordination
• Professional presentation with a calm, service-forward approach
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
• Comfortable standing for long periods and handling tray service
• Current Food Handler’s Certificate required

What You’ll Be Supporting

Depending on the event, responsibilities may include one or more of the following service styles:

Formal & Plated Service
• Welcome guests and deliver attentive, table-side service
• Take food and beverage orders with confidence and menu knowledge
• Transport plated meals from kitchen to table efficiently and accurately
• Clear and reset tables while maintaining an immaculate dining space
• Complete opening and closing duties such as station setup and silverware polishing

Cocktail, Canapé & Tray Service
• Move throughout event spaces offering hors d’oeuvres and beverages
• Execute tray-pass service during receptions and networking events
• Carry and manage plated bites, including shoulder-supported trays when needed
• Assist with light setup, breakdown, and removal of used serviceware

Banquet & Large-Scale Events
• Prepare tables, buffets, and service stations prior to guest arrival
• Run food and beverages to service points or guest tables
• Support service flow during high-volume banquets and events
• Assist with post-event cleanup, breakdown, and inventory support

Pay & Scheduling Details
• Core shifts include weekday lunches and weekend dinner services
• Additional opportunities available across various days and event types
• Hourly rates vary based on experience level, service style, and event requirements
