Job Description
Pretty Soul Kitchen in Las Vegas, NV is looking for one prep cook to join our 11 person strong team. We are located on 7365 W Sahara Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable.
Responsibilities
Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking Weigh and measure ingredients Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables Basic cooking functions such as kneading dough, and preparing sauces Label stock and inventory all ingredients Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
Requirements and Must-Haves:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a prep cook or in a similar role. References: Provide contacts from previous job experiences to verify your skills and work ethic. Independence: Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision. Initiative: Must be a self-starter, proactive in identifying tasks and ensuring completion. Shift: Required early morning shifts to ensure timely preparation for our kitchen operations. Transportation: Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and consistent attendance. Reliability: Must be dependable, with a strong commitment to meeting job expectations and responsibilities.
