POSITION OVERVIEW
The role of a Prep Cook involves assisting the kitchen team in preparing ingredients, following recipes, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under time constraints, and a commitment to upholding food safety and quality standards. The Prep Cook plays a vital role in contributing to the seamless operation of the kitchen and ensuring the timely preparation of ingredients for culinary activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Follow prep lists & recipes.
Properly stock BEO Carts to set the team up for success
Help "fire" food during meal times when directed.
Maintain proper food handling procedures.
Keep a clean workspace.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have an active food handlers card.
Must have food safety skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Team player with good communication skills.
Flexibility to working hours, as event schedules require.
Proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred and considered a plus.
Must be friendly, reliable, and punctual.
