Job Summary:
The Lead Preschool Teacher at Seeds Early Learning Academy is responsible for providing high-quality early childhood education in a structured, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment. This role requires a dedicated, hard-working professional who is committed to the academic, social, and emotional growth of each scholar. The Lead Preschool Teacher will implement the Experience Curriculum with consistency and intentionality to ensure scholars are fully prepared for the transition to Pre-K.
Seeds Early Learning Academy operates with organized scheduling and established classroom procedures to support instructional success. These systems allow teachers to focus primarily on effective teaching practices, classroom management, and relationship-building with scholars. The Lead Preschool Teacher is expected to maintain a well-prepared classroom, uphold daily routines, and model professionalism at all times.
Scholars in the 3’s and 4’s program will work toward meeting foundational readiness goals, including writing their name, recognizing personal information such as their birthday, demonstrating age-appropriate manners, following directions, and developing independence. The Lead Preschool Teacher plays a key role in ensuring these outcomes are met through intentional instruction, observation, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement the Experience Curriculum with fidelity and consistency
Maintain a structured, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
Support scholars’ readiness for Pre-K through academic and social development
Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and preparedness daily
Foster positive relationships with scholars, families, and staff
Ensure compliance with all center policies and early childhood regulations
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in early childhood education preferred
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
Commitment to nurturing and educating young scholars
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Work Location: In person
