Overview:
The Preschool Teacher is responsible for developing and implementing age-appropriate educational activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children. The teacher will create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Implement Age-Appropriate Curriculum
2. Foster a Safe and Nurturing Environment
3. Support Individualized Learning
4. Encourage Social and Emotional Development
5. Observe and Assess Child Progress
6. Communicate with Parents/Guardians
7. Promote Physical Development
8. Classroom Management
9. Collaborate with Other Staff
10. Professional Development
Key Skills Needed-
· Patience and flexibility
· Strong communication skills (with both children and adults)
· Creativity and problem-solving abilities
· Understanding of child development
· Ability to work collaboratively
· Organizational skills
Qualifications
1. A degree in Early childhood Education is a must.
2. Experience of working with children or similar setup.
3. Certification in CPR / First aid (Added Advantage)
