Key Responsibilities
Standard general practice nursing procedures and activities including HPV screening, immunizations, long-term condition management, wound management, and acute care.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
Serve as a mentor and resource for colleagues providing guidance and support in primary care nursing.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the department.
Requirements
Current Annual Practicing Certificate from New Zealand Nursing Council.
Current experience in New Zealand primary care nursing.
A high degree of autonomy with great assessment and time management skills.
Experience working with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Alignment with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
