About the Role

This role involves developing and delivering comprehensive primary healthcare services to remote communities through the establishment of a robust telehealth program.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement telehealth solutions tailored to the specific needs of Pilbara communities;

Provide high-quality nursing care, including chronic disease management and preventive health services;

Work closely with Aboriginal Medical Services, the West Australian Country Health Service (WACHS), and community members to co-design culturally appropriate healthcare solutions;

Regularly travel to the Pilbara region to engage with local teams, assess on-the-ground needs, and evaluate program effectiveness;

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A Registered Nurse qualification with significant experience in primary care, rural health, or Indigenous health services;

Proven experience in the design, implementation, and delivery of telehealth or remote healthcare programs;

Cultural competence and the ability to deliver healthcare services in alignment with cultural practices and community needs;

Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to drive program development and foster cross-sector collaboration.
