We are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our dedicated team at an outstanding Primary school based in London.
Job Summary:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to pupils aged 7-11, ensuring their academic development and progress.
Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Maintain a dynamic and inspiring learning environment that promotes creativity and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach according to educational needs, with a focus on promoting the development of abilities and aptitudes in assigned classes or groups.
Set and mark work to be completed by pupils, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
Assess, record, and report on student development, progress, and attainment.
Disseminate effective teaching pedagogy and practice to ensure consistently good or outstanding teaching and learning.
Contribute to the wider life of the academy, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and students.
Requirements:
QTS (or equivalent) and an undergraduate degree.
Successful experience of teaching the primary curriculum, with a strong understanding of current theory and best practice.
Good subject knowledge of core National Curriculum subjects, particularly mathematics and literacy.
An understanding of child development and progression, and effective strategies for managing behaviour within the classroom.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
