Position description:
Responsibilities:
A) Job Description for Homeroom Teacher
Design and setup of homeroom space - teaching materials, furniture, and overall learning environment
Create Behavioral agreements, Expectations and Norms and Display the Same in the Class for reinforcement and revisiting.
Fill the Attendance Data everyday in the Attendance Register.
Oversee of daily time table of homeroom students
Design and execute homeroom class activities (LEAPED)
Appoint monitors for the class as per the behavior management system of the school
Monitor students during lunch break, Co-scholastic periods and arrival-dispersal
Review students diary for any note from the parents
Update classroom displays and hallway displays assigned, with student work
Design and deliver instruction in math/language or other core subject areas, as required
Enter the Marks of all the subjects and Remarks in the School Manager Software and sign the reports and submit it to the Section coordinator and the Principal for their signatures.
Update and maintain student assessments and educational reports for each child.
Attend all PLCs spaces i.e. collaborative meetings within department or school as required
Fulfill all PD requirements, including workshops, book clubs, online courses, etc.
Actively participating in PTMs
Proactively communicating with parents, and responding to their queries promptly
Organizing and/or helping the school organize various functions
Collaborate in the Planning of Intra School Activities
Support inter-school activities
Designing annual plans and unit plans
Designing lesson plans before each delivered class
Designing annual syllabus before start of school
Weekly classroom update data to be provided to coordinator as per timeline
Participate in relevant Learning and Innovation Team projects as requested
In addition to the above, performing all those functions that might be necessary in order to ensure that the school’s services are of the nature and quality that will help fulfill its founding vision
Go to Subject Cell Meetings organized by AISM for preparing students for ICSE Exams (only for teachers teaching in grades 8-10)
Escort students during field trips and tours and ensure their safety and securtiy
Follow HW policy
B) Job Description for Subject Teacher
Update classroom displays and hallway displays assigned, with student work
Design and deliver instruction in math/language or other core subject areas, as required
Enter the Marks of all the subjects and Remarks in the School Manager Software and sign the reports and submit it to the Section coordinator and the Principal for their signatures.
Update and maintain student assessments and educational reports for each child.
