Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 3 students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure all pupils reach their academic goals.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages student participation.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development and well-being.
Contribute to the wider school community through participation in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven UK experience teaching at the primary level, preferably with Year 3 or lower KS2 students.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate young learners.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the school's ongoing development.
Salary: This role comes with a competitive salary in the range of £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Location: The position will be based in the Crawley area, easily accessible by public transport.
