We are seeking a highly skilled Principal with a strong background in retail banking analytics and advanced analytics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of analytics professionals for the BFSI vertical and driving the development and implementation of innovative analytical solutions for our BFSI client portfolio. Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the delivery of analytical solutions for marquee global BFSI clients of TheMathCompany. The responsibility of Delivery shall entail working in very close partnership with growth leaders to build solid relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional delivery quality to constantly create elevated experiences for our customers.
• Lead and manage a team of analytics professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to support their professional growth. The leader shall be a true servant-leader to a large team, organized by accounts. The leader will create open, collaborative, sharing and high-energy, high-performance teams that will go above and beyond in delivering the best for TheMathCompany clients.
• Develop and implement innovative analytical solutions that support the growth and profitability of MathCo's BFSI-centric engagements, leveraging AI and machine learning techniques as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders in the firm to effectively build the practice. This will include, and not restricted to, partnering with platform teams to leverage the platform capabilities that will add value to the solutions, partner with innovation to bring blue-water thinking to solving complex problem statements elegantly and with the talent function to create people-excellence.
• Stay current with industry trends and developments in retail banking analytics and AI and assess potential applications that when created will add to our capabilities to serve the BFSI sector.
• Develop and execute project plans and deliverables, ensuring timely and effective completion of projects, utilizing agile methodologies as appropriate.
• Provide strategic direction for BFSI analytics function, setting and achieving long-term goals and objectives, leveraging cutting-edge analytical and AI techniques.
To be successful with these responsibilities, we are looking for someone who has the following credentials.
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, statistics, finance, computer science, or a related field that has applicability in the BFSI analytics domain.
· A minimum of 15 to 18 years of experience in retail banking analytics, with a proven track record of delivering impactful analytical solutions at scale leveraging AI and machine learning techniques. The candidate must be familiar with statistical and engineering techniques used to solve problems that mostly recur in Retail Banking. The candidate must be able to rationalize the value extracted by the application of analytical solutions and techniques.
· Strong leadership and team management skills, including experience leading a team of analytics professionals and cross-functional teams of not less than 200.
· Strong client management capabilities demonstrated through working with complex organization structures, demanding stakeholders (including internal clients). The candidate must be able to demonstrate ability to structurally manage schedules and expectations.
· In-depth understanding of retail banking operations and experience applying advanced analytical and AI techniques to retail and consumer banking data.
· Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Tableau, as well as machine learning libraries and frameworks. The candidate must be aware of core banking and other FinTech stack of products that are popularly used in the Retail Bank.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex analytical and AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences in the context of BFSI problem statements, clearly articulating the value potential of such solutions.
· A passion for staying up to date with the latest trends and developments in analytics and AI and a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
