Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 5 years' experience in software engineering OR Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 3 years' experience in software engineering
Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Program Access is required
Experience developing software with C/C++/Python/Java
Experience with tools/technologies in a DevOps Environment (e.g
Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab, Confluence, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Chart, Container Orchestration)
Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, Development Pipelines, and Administration

Salary Range: $112,100 - $168,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives

The selected candidates must have the following skills and abilities: Software and AI/ML Engineer responsible for designing and managing the Cloud infrastructure and designing and developing Software as a Service (SaaS) microservices
Duties include deploying product updates, setting up software factory, virtual machines, containers, and orchestration
The role will have a large impact on team productivity and as such requires an understanding of the software development lifecycle and various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines)
Potential opportunities to develop existing baselines to integrate on cloud service provider infrastructure, work with ground system services and IaC/CaC for automation
Manage the Azure cloud infrastructure tools and data
Manage and improve container orchestration and deployment strategies
Develop tools to manage continuous integration, software stack support, code quality and coverage
Ensure and develop tools for monitoring security, privacy, and integrity of data and other resources
Design new software and implement SW using event driven architecture
Lead diverse skilled teams using Agile and Atlassian tools
