Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Director – Data Analyst to lead and manage our data analytics teams, oversee client engagements, and drive strategic insights across various business functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling large overseas teams, managing client relationships, and leading functional data analysis projects. This role requires deep analytical expertise and strong leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership:
• Lead and manage a team of data analysts across global locations, providing strategic direction, performance management, and mentoring.
• Client Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing expectations, delivering insights, and ensuring client satisfaction. Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and provide tailored data solutions.
• Strategic Planning & Execution:
• Develop and execute data analytics strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams and stakeholders.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Oversee data analysis processes to extract actionable insights, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and relevancy. Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to drive business outcomes.
• Functional Expertise:
• Apply deep expertise in functional areas of data analysis, guiding teams on best practices, methodologies, and innovative approaches to solving business problems.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
• Work closely with various departments to ensure data analytics initiatives are aligned with company goals. Partner with engineering, IT, and other business units to drive data-driven decisions.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for improving data processes and workflows, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
Requirements:
• Experience:
• 15+ years of overall experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in a functional role (e.g., functional data analysis, data strategy, business intelligence).
• Proven experience leading and managing overseas data teams.
• Experience handling client relationships, providing insights and solutions based on data analysis.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms ( Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database management.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Education:
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a functional leadership role within a large enterprise.
• Proven track record in improving data-driven decision-making within an organization.
