Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
14 years of experience as an enterprise architect in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role.
Experience in Telco Industry around core telecommunications networks, IT CRM, BSS, OSS, digital/data transformation.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation processes.
Experience building, architecting, designing/implementing distributed global cloud-based systems.
Experience applying industry standards defined by bodies such as TMForum, ETSI, and 3GPP to drive standardized Telco architectures and interworking in telecommunication specific domain solutions.
Knowledge of telecommunications Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), MANO, Cloud-native Distributed Network architectures, Telco Edge networks and multi domain service orchestration and assurance.

As a Principal Architect, you will lead cross-functional teams of experts to help customers design, plan, implement, and govern enterprise cloud strategies. You will embody executive-level qualities, facilitate the conversation and direct the execution of the Business team by combining both technical goal and business insight. You will partner with Value Engineering in order to articulate the total value of each technical solution and the overall business partnership with Google Cloud.

Responsibilities
Engage with C-level executives and be an advisor and single owner to engage with key technology stakeholders and identify customer priorities and technical objections for the Telco Industry customers.
Design and position Telco Industry specific solutions based on bespoke or existing global solutions or future innovations at Google Cloud and technical strategy for customers covering Cloud, Google entities, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), third-party elements etc.
Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure to implement a complete solution providing advice to customers to optimize Google Cloud.
Own the technical account plan for prioritised/strategic accounts. Assists C-level executives in these accounts to develop a technology roadmap with Google Cloud through recommendations on enterprise architecture, integration, application infrastructure, analytics, AI/ML.
