Manitoba Teaching Certificate
Minimum of five (5) years teaching experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Level 1 Manitoba Administration Certification, Level 2 Manitoba Principal Certification or
Certificate for School Leadership considered an asset
Post-graduate in Education Administration (or related field) or willingness to obtain
Understanding of Indigenous education, culture and traditions
Effective communication with co-workers, public and outside agencies, demonstrated through
written/verbal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize
Possess a clear vision of what makes a great school
Ability to work collaboratively with team members
Ability to nurture and develop a positive school culture
