Job Description
Your role will be to create exceptional communications content across our Public Relations (PR) and Social Media channels. The content will engage airline executives and position Accelya as thought leaders in the retailing transformation of the airline industry. You will be the owner and orchestrator of public relations (PR) and social media content production for Accelya, building a content strategy and calendar. Working with key internal stakeholders to find the compelling story and translate that into engaging and thoughtful content, that helps drive an increase in the perception of our brand in the market.
On social media you will drive the agenda for content creation for our main channels, using innovative and creative techniques to drive engagement and awareness. The goal is to engage airline executives. You will have an attention to detail on measurement, driving engagement, and traffic to our website. You will also work with our leadership to amplify social selling, looking to scale our organic reach with key airline executives.
For PR you will manage the relationship with our PR agency, to produce and publish regular and compelling content, utilizing customer wins, product developments, and thought leadership content to reach our target audience.
Success will come by helping to improve our share of voice in the market versus key competitors and measuring the impact of our activity. Ultimately helping to positively shift the profile of our brand, solutions and key spokespeople in the industry.
You will be responsible for core metrics assigned to your channels and report regularly to senior stakeholders on progress.
Reporting into the Corporate Marketing Director, you will be an important part of this wider team, that helps drive the agenda for the Accelya brand, and the perception of our company in the market.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Build an Accelya Communications Strategy across PR and social media by collaborating with multiple internal teams and determining priority topics and content mediums. You will communicate this through a content calendar and regular proactive communications.
Be the social media specialist at Accelya, executing weekly content that engages airline executives, using a mixture of content techniques.
Be the PR specialist at Accelya, executing a minimum of 3-4 assets per month, including press releases, interviews for key spokespeople within Accelya.
Be or become an expert on the airline industry and understand what topics are top of mind for airline executives and understand deeply how Accelya can bring value and solve pain points.
Collaborate with external partners including PR agency, external design agency, and industry publications, to bring stories to our social media following and the industry.
Drive an increase in our share of voice vs key competitors and increase the amount of airline followers on our social media channels.
Regular reporting on performance of your channels.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
Proven track record in marketing communications for B2B software or within the aviation industry
A passion for social media and PR production and a track record for driving impact and results through a regular cadence of content across both channels.
Strong communicator with exceptional skills and passion for writing in the English language.
Must be able to dig into a story and find the compelling angle.
A passion for technology with experience working in Cloud, SAAS and/or airline software.
Data driven and able to communicate impact through quantifiable metrics.
